Mrs Rennie-Younger has been teaching Room 1 and Room 2 to skip!
We know how to do two different kinds of skipping.
If we want to run and move we need to use the rhyme: Over, step step. Over, step step.
If we want to skip on the spot and not move we need to say: Over, jump jump. Over, jump jump.
We know that over means we start with the skipping rope behind us and then we bring it over our head and then step step or jump jump.
We have only had two lessons so far but we are already becoming really good at skipping!!
