Special Stickers!
People in Room 2 like to write messages with the magnetic letters.
Maia and Christine wanted to write a message to Mrs O'Hanlon.
This is what they wrote:

and when they came back they had HUGE special stickers!!

Trip to the Stardome!
Last week we went on our first ever school trip! We went on a bendy bus with Room 1 and Room 5. Have a look at all the things we saw!

The start of our big adventure!

We went inside and watched a movie about a little star that was really our  Sun!

After the movie we got to explore...

 We even got to "Dress up" as Astronauts!

This is called the Pumpkin suit!

After all the fun we had looking at all the cool things we went into the classroom and we learnt about how the Sun, Moon and Earth all work together.

 Nati, Lily and Daniel (from Room 1) dressed up as the Sun, Moon and the Earth! They showed us how we move around the Sun and Moon moves around us!

Then we hopped back on the bus. We were all a little bit tired now!

 We saw the Sky Tower.

 We saw a big boat from the Navy!

What a fun first trip we had!

Narrative Writing

Over the last two weeks we have been very clever and learnt how to write narratives. We now know that narratives are made up stories and that we need to use interesting words in them.

We have three pictures that we use to make up our stories from.

So far we have published our Cat narratives and our Monkey narratives.

Marvelous Maths!
This term on a Friday at maths time we are learning about length and perimeter.
We got to bring one of our toys to school and we had to introduce our toy to Room 2. Then we started our maths lesson.

Jack measured his snake to see if it was taller than the other toys.

 Liam held Woody up to see if he was longer than the other toys.

 This is how Room 2 ordered their toys from shortest to longest.

From smallest to biggest.
