I am a person!

We read a book in our reading group called I am a Tiger and then we decided to make our own book about us! We used most of the same words that were in the book but we had to change some of them

I am a person

Look at my eyes.

Look at my nose.

Look at my ears.

Look at my teeth.

Look at my hands.

Look at my uniform.

Look at me.

I am a person!

And because we just couldn't resist...

Life Education

We were so lucky to have had the Life Education Caravan come and visit our school. We got to go inside twice and we met Harold and Corrine.

We had a great time learning about what our bodies need to make them healthy and we discovered that we are all VIP - Very Important People!

We sang some songs, learnt some poems and even looked at the stars!

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day Miss Linehan made us hats (out of plates!). Some of use decided we didn't want one but most of us did.

Sand

Last week we went into the sandpit and talked about what sand felt like and of course we had a great play!
We went back into our classroom and these are the ideas we came up with…

Then we wrote about what sand felt like and what we like to do in the sandpit or at the beach in the sand. We had really good ideas like sand feels soft like a pillow or hard like a rock.
