Turbo Touch

For the last 4 weeks we have been learning how to play Turbo Touch. It is a new game for all of us where the ball can go forwards, backwards and to the side. We know that to start the game we have to touch the ball with our foot and then pick it up. We then have to pass the ball two times (without being tagged!) and then score in the goal which is like an island! Room 2 is now getting really good at playing turbo touch! Mr Barnes

As part of our unit on toys Mr Barnes brought his AWESOME toy in to show us. He bought it in Singapore when he was 30.

We LOVED this toy and we did some amazing writing about it afterwards too!

The Toy Man

To start off our unit on Toys we had the Toy Man come and visit us. He showed us lots of very cool and fun toys that were like the ones that our Great Grandparents might have had. They were AMAZING and he had hand made ALL of them!!

Daffodil Day

Last week we had lots of fun getting ready for Daffodil Day.
We made four different types of daffodil flowers and we even have a yellow curtain made of ribbons over our classroom door.
