Today one of the reading groups in Room 2 read a book called School Blog. They decided that they would like to write an entry for our class blog...so here it is!
We have been working on retelling the stories we read. This is our retell about planting beans.
We scooped dirt and put it in the pots.
We put two holes in the dirt.
We put the seeds in the holes.
We buried them in soil.
We gave them a spray of water.
Then we left them in the sun on the windowsill.
Last Friday the beans were just beginning to grow.
Over the long weekend the beans started sprouting up!
In our table groups we planted these seeds; Wild flowers, Cucumber, California Poppies, Basil, Parsley, Tomato, Zucchini, Coriander and Lettuce.
